After one too many frustrating experiences with traditional storage facilities (hello, 40-minute paperwork and staff who disappear at 5 PM sharp), we decided Berlin needed something better. Lagerfy started with a simple question: Why can’t storage be as straightforward as ordering food delivery? We stripped away everything annoying about traditional storage and rebuilt it for how Berliners actually live—digital-first, on-demand, and without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Let’s be honest—Berlin apartments aren’t exactly known for their spaciousness. The average Berliner’s apartment is 65m², and that’s if you’re lucky. Using your valuable living space to store winter clothes, bikes, or that guitar you occasionally play just isn’t practical. Traditional storage solutions haven’t helped. They’re typically located in industrial areas on the outskirts of the city that require a car (which most of us don’t have), involve excessive paperwork, and operate on rigid 9-5 schedules that don’t match Berlin’s 24-hour lifestyle.

We're in neighborhoods where Berliners actually live—not some industrial zone in Marzahn. Our Prenzlauer Berg facility is a 5-minute walk from Greifswalder Straße SBahn. Store your bike, pick it up on your way to work. Simple.
"24/7 access" at traditional facilities often means "call this number and wait for someone to maybe show up." For us, it means our facility is actually accessible at 3 AM on a Tuesday if that's when you need your stuff. Berlin doesn't operate on business hours, and neither do we.
